There are many things in life that cause fear. Fixating on fear has the potential to change our perspectives about the present or future. It can alter our behavior and change our disposition when subject to circumstances or around people we associate with fear. When a child is small nothing comforts more than to reach out to feel someone hold their hand. In Isa. 41:10-13 we’re given seven promises from God that greatly increase the potential for comfort in our fears. Perhaps the greatest comfort comes in feeling Him spiritually holding our hand. In that touch we experience “perfect love”, which the Bible says “cast out fear”. 1 Jn. 4:18
Isa 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; 1.His Presence (We’re not alone. He is always with us.)
Be not dismayed, for I am your God. 2.His Possession (He is mine & I am His)
I will strengthen you, 3.His Power (He empower us and restore our strength)
Yes, I will help you, 4.His Provision (He provides everything we need to assist us)
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ 5.His Pledge (He will support and sustain us)
Isa 41:11 “Behold, all those who were incensed against you Shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, And those who strive with you shall perish.
Isa 41:12 You shall seek them and not find them—Those who contended with you. Those who war against you Shall be as nothing, As a nonexistent thing. 6. His Preservation (He will remove the enemy and his influence to overcome us)
Isa 41:13 For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, 7.HIs Personal Touch ( He will hold our hand)
Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’
Nothing removes my anxious fear
Than to know God is always near
No matter what His will demands
I feel secure to hold His hands.
